£ Continue to work on your book report! It is on Traditional Literature - Stories that are passed down from one group to another in history. This includes folktales, legends, fables, fairy tales, tall tales, and myths from different cultures. Your instructions are to create a TV or radio commercial that makes us readers excited about a book, author, series, or genre. As you present be sure to:
1) Show the cover of the book
2) Start with a good lead
3) Tell the author, title, genre, library location, series, etc.,
4) Explain why you chose to share the book
5) Tell a little about the book, but don't give away the secrets.
6) You must also write a brief 5 point summary.
£ Continue your Leaf Project! Collect many leaves from your neighborhood. Classify them by their names and types. You are invited to do leaf rubbings, leaf drawings, make a leaf book, etc.
Things to Learn
£ Spelling - Study your spelling words! Be ready for your spelling check on Friday!
£ Math - Complete the math work on the backside of this paper. Remember, you must show your work!
£ Language – Define the following grammar term(s):
4th grade : What is a verb and an adjective? Give some examples. Can you make up new ones?
5th grade : What is an adjective, adverb and preposition? Give examples of each. Can you make up new words?
6th grade: What is an adverb, preposition, interjection, and pronoun? Give examples of each. Can you make up new words?
£ Social Studies –Name the Great Lakes?
